Join the Holistic Wellness Series, hosted by the Excelsior University Center for Social Justice, Fielding Graduate University’s Student Life & Thriving, and the Holistic Wellness Rope Team, for Yoga Nidra: Rest & Recalibrate on Thursday, November 5, from 3-4 p.m. ET. This restorative guided wellness experience is designed to help participants pause, reset, and reconnect. Participants will explore yoga nidra, often described as “guided conscious rest,” to help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, release tension, and support focus, sleep, and resilience.
Open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, the session requires no prior experience. Participants may sit comfortably or lie down as they discover how intentional rest can support greater well-being and clarity amid academic, professional, and everyday demands. Our facilitator, Excelsior University health sciences faculty member Kelly Hunger, MS, C-IAYT, ACSM-CEP, brings more than 14 years of higher education teaching experience at Excelsior University and more than two decades of clinical expertise in the health sciences, with a focus on exercise physiology, functional anatomy, and evidence-based yoga therapy. Register here for this opportunity to rest, restore, and recalibrate.
A Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
